Eddy current testing

Eddy current testing is based on electromagnetic induction which applies varying magnetic field on the material's volume examined, located in the operational area of the probe. The following material flaws are mostly detected by means of eddy current testing during the operation and production of various objects: vertical and horizontal cracks, overlaps, ripples, inclusions and intercrystalline corrosion.
